Let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born and raised in a small
Northern Ontario community.
Leaving northern Ontario to pursue university studies in Business Administration I found that while I enjoyed the material, it did not engage my passion. During the course of my undergraduate studies I became acutely interested in rehabilitation studies when a close family friend was involved in a car accident that left him in need of intense therapy to relearn basic communicative skills. This led me to supplement my business coursework with linguistics and rehabilitation courses. I ultimately earned my Master of Clinical Science in Audiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and my Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
After practising audiology for 16 years in northwestern Ontario, 9 years of which were in public health and 7 years in private practice, I relocated with my husband and 2 children to Meaford in the summer of 2013, in order to be closer to family. We’re enjoying all of the beauty the Georgian Bay area has to offer and are looking forward to making Meaford home for many years to come! I’m thrilled to be contributing to Meaford's health services community, and look forward to building strong and lasting personal and hearing health care relationships.
Helping you hear the sounds of life,
