Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in a small Northern Ontario community.

Leaving northern Ontario to pursue university studies in Business Administration I found that while I enjoyed the material, it did not engage my passion. During the course of my undergraduate studies, I became acutely interested in rehabilitation studies when a close family friend was involved in a car accident that left him in need of intense therapy to relearn basic communicative skills. This led me to supplement my business coursework with linguistics and rehabilitation courses. I ultimately earned my Master of Clinical Science in Audiology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and my Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona.
